Construction operations to install the long span section of the new Stamford Station platform will take place at the intersection of South State Street and Atlantic Street on Jan. 31-Feb. 1, 2020. The following road closures will be in effect Friday, January 31-Saturday, February 1 between the hours of 7pm Friday – 3pm Saturday:

Atlantic Street, between Dock Street and North State Street will be temporarily closed; South State Street, between Guernsey Avenue and the Exit 8 Ramp on S. State Street will be temporarily closed. Slow moving construction vehicles will be traveling between Myrtle Avenue and Dock Street on Friday, January 31, 2020 between 7pm-9pm.

Motorists and pedestrians should be aware that other brief road closures in the area may be implemented as required and modifications to the proposed schedule, including postponements and/or extensions may be necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
